History

Founded by Louis Vrijdag in 1905
Vrijdag was founded by Louis Vrijdag as a lithographic printing company in 1905. At the time, this entrepreneurial teacher and music lover had decided to try his hand at printing sheet music for a choral society. Over the last 115 years, Vrijdag business went well and developed to what it is today: a highly modern, globally active premium printing company that produces high-quality labels and packaging using the latest technology.

2009 Vrijdag Expands 
In 2009, Drukkerij Vrijdag, purchased Drukkerij Gestel, also based in Eindhoven, with this fusion Vrijdags technical capabilities expanded further with sheet-fed rotogravure printing. This technique can be combined perfectly with the sheet-fed offset printing process.

2010 Drukkerij Vrijdag becomes Vrijdag
Because of our one-stop-shopping strategy and world wide customer solutions, we changed the company name from Drukkerij (printer) to our current company name Vrijdag. Whatever your printing needs, Vrijdag can meet them. Next to print we produce premium packaging and labels.

Our strength is that, in addition to offset and gravure printing, we are able to apply a wide range of special and unique finishing techniques. Thanks to our staff and their years of knowledge and experience, we are able to guide and advise you through the design and printing process. Next to that, we have assembling lines to create 3D board packaging such as gift boxes and shoulder boxes.
