What is interference ink?
Interference ink can be found as security feature on banknotes. It contains pearlescent pigments and changes of color when viewed at different angles. special printing effect, we see that interference ink is also used as a refinement.
When to add interference ink to your design?
Interference ink can be used when you, as a brand owner, want to add a security feature to your label and/or packaging so that you and your customers are able to identify your products. Interference ink can also be used for it's special effect and decorative appeal. The power of optically variable pigments which colours change depending on the angle of light and view can be a great eye-catcher on the shelf.

interference ink can be printed on both cardboard and paper. There is a wide range of colors available, however the printing effect depends on the used surface. Interference ink has the most effect on a dark background. That is something for designers to take into account.

Interference ink is suitable for food packaging and is seen on children toys. The pigments are physiologically harmless. Interference ink does not soluble in water and does not contain any heavy metals - is therefore considered to be environmentally friendly.
